About me
German born and raised, now living amongst the South Downs near Brighton with my husband and son and cat.
I grew up with my mum’s darkroom in the cellar of our family home. That always stirred an interest in photography within me. Although I was always intrigued, I didn’t pick up a proper camera until 2015.
I love to get out in nature, just me and my camera. I am fascinated with any wildlife, especially butterflies which are a real challenge to capture.
But I also love to take photos of children. They are still so uninhibited and wear their emotions on their sleeves! They are also a lot of fun to work with.
My favourite style is 'fly-on-the-wall', documentary photography using natural light. It captures a person’s true beauty without posing or pretending.
I hope you enjoy looking through my work and hope you feel like we could work together sometime.
